Dr. Md. Shuktarul Islam passed SSC in 2000 from DGT High School, Daulatpur, Kushtia and HSC in 2002 from Kushtia Govt. College, Kushtia. He completed MBBS from Faridpur Medical College, Faridpur in 2008. He joined in government service in 2010. He was posted in Agailjhara UHC, Barishal. Then he worked in Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Dhaka. He Passed MD in Neurology in 2021 from Sir Salimullah Medical College under BSMMU. He also did certificate course CCD (diabetology) from BIRDEM, Dhaka. He also did fellowships training in Clinical Neurophysiology (NCS and EMG) from NINS. He also did training on Emergency Management from Mahidol University, Thiland and He also did training on Headache and Stroke from Singapore. He is now working as Neurologist in National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Agargoan, Dhaka. He has published various scientific papers in various national and international journals. He has special interest in Stroke Medicine, Headache, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular and Movement Disorder.
