Dr. Laila is a pediatrician with over 18 years of experience. She completed her MBBS in 2001 from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, and her Diploma in Child Health (DCH) in 2008 from Dhaka Medical College. Dr. Laila has participated in various training throughout her career, attaining crucial knowledge of her line of work. She worked at icddr,b from 2008 to 2009 as a clinical fellow and moved on to Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, now known as Evercare, as the Registrar, of Pediatrics. She was then promoted to Senior Registrar in 2013 where she worked until January 2020. Just before joining Praava, Dr. Laila worked as a Specialist, Pediatrics at ERRH Mongar in Bhutan.
